Today i went to ikea in Leeds with my mum, not really expecting to buy much, and we ended up spending £305! Admittedly, it was mostly on stuff that I needed for my bedroom (dressing table etc.) but still, i didn't expect to buy anything, i was just going for the meatballs everyone raves about! Anyway, i'll post about that later. 

Today, other than ikea, i had a lovely chat with a bus driver and have thought about packing. I'm saving it until tomorrow though, i'll procrastinate a while longer seeing as it's what i'm best at. I've also got to go round to my boyfriend's tomorrow and 'help him pack' which basically means i'll be doing it for him, but i don't mind, it'll get me more in the holiday spirit! On Monday my brother and his girlfriend went to Corfu for a week, but they're coming up to Scotland to meet us on Tuesday when they get back which is great as i haven't been on holiday with my brother in 4 years and we're really close. Ok, so these pictures just really don't do my wallpaper justice, but you can check it out on the website here. I really cant wait to get it up on my wall and get some photo's of it, i've just got to pester my dad to do it for me! It was so expensive though, £50 for one wall of wallpaper? crazy! 

I love the clock and lamp as well, they're so cute and my bedding was a steal at only £25 in the dunelm half price sale! God, just talking about it all makes me so excited for it to be finished so i can move back in. Not long until my bed arrives now :)

I didn't actually wear this out today, it's too dressy for me, i was just practicing outfits for Scotland because i was bored. This morning i went to the 6th form taster day but it just wasn't the school for me so i left at lunch and got the bus home. At least now i'm certain of which 6th form i want to go to! 

My wallpaper also arrived today which i am so excited about! It's even more beautiful in the roll's than the sample was. So inspired by this, later on i'm going to post all the purchases i have for my room so far, then tomorrow i'm going to ikea to see if there's any bargains i need, and because believe it or not, i've never been before! Yesterday i was feeling really creative, but i cant for the life of me sew/make clothes, i didn't feel like drawing as i  got so sick of it after towards the end of doing my art gcse so i decided to try my luck at cupcakes. The buttercream ended up kinda lumpy because i put it in the microwave with the butter (trying to melt the butter) but they taste really nice and don't look that bad. I'm not really a pink person, but lately i've just been feeling really girly and want everything to be pink. My nail's are now a lovely shade of cerise pink, my new bedding is dusky pink and even the cupcakes are pink!

So today i went to the local park to see all my friends and to play on the zip-wire, then i went to see Bad Teacher at the cinema with my boyfriend. I wasn't that excited about seeing it but it was so good! I recommend you all go see it :) The weather was all over the place today as well, one minute it was raining, the next bright sunshine. Typical british weather for you! 

Now i'm just sat with a whole bag of asda's chocolate cookies watching Ross Kemp on gang's. Programs like this and one's to do with prison's and stuff really interest me! I'm just so intrigued by how other's live their life's.
Apologies for the randomness of the last photo. I was eating a 99 ice-cream last night and one of my looks got 99 hypes and i was just really amused by it. Simple life.

Today i met up with my friend in town and did a bit of sale shopping, although i'd put myself on a shopping ban! God i never do stick to those, i have a problem i swear. But anyway, i ended up getting some jeans from H&M because i don't actually own a decent pair of jeans. I ended up having to get a bloody size 16 as well! That's how horrendous the sizing is in H&M. I really wanted a 14, but they didn't have any and the 12 were just too tight to be comfortable. They're a bit baggy on my legs but i can deal with that. I'll make an outfit post with them in soon so show you or something. 

On wednesday I have an open day for one of the 6th form's i've applied to and i just have no idea what to wear! It's basically just like half a day at school, but the rest of the school is there as well and i just don't want to make a fool of myself! I'm thinking just my new jeans an a t-shirt because i don't want to look like a slut or anything, but i'm really not sure. If anyone feel's like giving me any advice it'd be much appreciated!

Sorry about the lack of photo's/the awful background, my dad was in my bedroom all day painting so i couldn't get in to take the photo's where i usually do. Good news though, it's all painted now and looks absolutely beautiful! I'm just waiting for my wallpaper to arrive, so i can have my one wall wallpapered, then all painty/decorating parts will be finished, and it'll be just a matter of waiting for my bed to arrive (2 weeks to go! ), buying new furniture, curtains, a light and w/e other bit and bobs i want, then arranging it all to look pretty! I'm so excited to see the final outcome and move back in! 

On saturday I'm going away to Scotland for a week with my family and boyfriend so i'm really excited about that as well! I haven't even thought about packing or what i'm going to take because prom just consumed my mind for the last couple of months, but i'll be sure to do the whole 'photo of suitcase' post, then get loads of outfit snaps for you whilst i'm away! It's also a really pretty place where we're going, out in the woods, over-looking a lake, staying in a log cabin so my photographer mind will be in it's element!

Ben and Jerry's Double Scoop Sundae 2011 

Being the true fatty that i am, i subscribed to ben&jerry's a while back, and i just received an email about their Festival type thing on the 23rd and 24th July, and i reaaaaaally wanna go! I checked out the website and it turns out its on at manchester, which isn't really that far away from me and on the saturday maximo park are playing! and it gets better, with booking fee's etc. it only works out at £20, and you get free ice cream all day! If anyone lives in Manchester or London, you've gotta be crazy not to go. 

Rescue the Eskimo are a band in the competition being run as well, and i think they're really good so i just thought i'd throw it out there whilst i'm rambling!

I had such a wonderful day yesterday! I felt gorgeous in my dress and absolutely everyone looked amazing. Unfortunately i don't have any photo's of my outfit from the night-do but i'm pretty sure some awful drunk photo's will be put up on facebook later which i'll be able to post here. I got home at about half 12 this afternoon after spending the night trying to sleep on a wooden floor in a cabin, and have just woken up from an accidental nap feeling rather groggy, but i guess that's what you've gotta put up with if you want a really good night! Later i'm going to a scary movie night at my friend's house, that's if i can pull myself from my bed! I'm probably going to start reading my new book in the garden as well or something, because i hate that i'm wasting the sun!
